  • Primetime (ABC, 10pm) Season Premiere – A look at caring for elderly parents.

  • Monsters Inside Me (AnPl, 9pm) Series Premiere – A look at organisms, inside people, I just don’t want to know.

  • There’s really nothing new or notable on, so perhaps roll into the three day weekend with a movie, perhaps Transformers, hmm, or those Netflix that are covered with dust, or those 14 episodes of Lost, or maybe just more Wimbledon.

  • Margaret Cho (Show, 11pm) – Cho does what she does in this latest special.

Saturday

  • Beach Volleyball (NBC, Sat/Sun, 1:30pm) – Check out the Men’s final from Brooklyn NY followed by the Women’s final on Sunday.
  • Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks (NBC, 9pm) – Natalie Morales and Tiki Barber host with musical guests Jewel and Rob Thomas among others.
  • Boston Pops Fireworks (CBS, 10pm) – Craig Ferguson hosts Neil Diamond performs with the Boston Pops.

Sunday

  • Wimbledon (NBC, Mon-Sun, various times) – Wrap up the last week of tennis with breakfast on the weekend for Women’s and Men’s finals  if you feel like getting up at 6am, I do so love tivo.
  • Ruby (Style, 8pm) Season Premiere – Apparently there is a character names Ruby who is on a diet and goes to see Rascal Flatts.

  • Better Off Ted (ABC, 9:30pm)  – Ted and Veronica and the gang are back to pick up the rest of the season in the weird work world.

  • Penn & Teller: Bullshit (Show, 10pm) Season Premiere– It says they’re looking at orgasms.

Friday

  • Virtuality (Fox, 8pm) – I think this is a pilot for a series that didn’t see the light of day as a spaceship’s virtual reality system goes awry.

Saturday

  • Action Sports (NBC, 11am) – When did the Dew tour become the Alli Dew tour, regardless this weekend it’s in Chicago for the BMX Open.
  • Ellen’s Bigger Longer and Wider Show (TBS, 9pm)  – Ellen does variety one more time and is joined by Kanye West and David Blaine among others.

Sunday

  • Tour de France Preview (Vs, 4pm) – Sprints, mountains, time trials… but hopefully no doping drama.
  • BET Awards (BET, 5pm) – Jamie Foxx hosts the celebrations or entertainers.

  • According to Jim (ABC, 8/8:30pm) Season Finale – I wasn’t sure this show was still on, though apparently this season is its last.
  • Earth 2100 (ABC, 9pm) – Bob Woodruff reports on where things could be going.
  • Inside the Obama White House (Tues/Wed, NBC, 9pm) – Brian Williams kicks it and shows us some dish.
  • Law & Order: SVU (NBC, 10pm) Season Finale – The negotiations continue with Benson and Stabler but regardless next year the show will go on.
  • Man vs. Wild (Disc, 10pm) – Will Ferrell joins for a real life adventure through the frosty wild, but reportedly does not drink his own urine.
  • Paris Hilton’s My New BFF (MTV, 10pm) Season Premiere – I guess last year’s winner isn’t her BFF anymore, maybe she is hanging with Nichole Ritchie.

  • Law & Order (NBC, 10pm) Season Finale – Are these stories still ripped from the headlines, if so watch out for charity folks.

  • Jimmy Kimmel Live/NBA Countdown/Finals Game (ABC, 6pm) – We kick off the finals with some Kimmel and some basketball, Kimmel starts before in the East and after in the West.
  • Burn Notice (USA, 9pm) Season Premiere – Will Michael’s life improve now that the people who burned him are going to leave him alone, I doubt it, and catch up on the earlier shows marathon-style starting with the pilot Tues at 6am.
  • The Listener (NBC, 9/10pm) Series Premiere – If a paramedic can hear your thoughts would he be entertaining?
  • Royal Pains (USA, 10pm) Series Premiere – Brothers hit the Hamptons, one becomes a reluctant concierge Dr and the other is trying to make him less reluctant.
  • Tosh.0 (Com, 10pm) Series Premiere – Comedian Daniel Tosh riffs on crap you find on the web.

  • Privileged (CW, 8pm) – The show may not go on but you can watch season one again, or catch it for the first time.

  • Grey’s Anatomy (ABC, 9pm) – In the 100th episode we near Mer and Der’s wedding, who wants to guess what will go wrong.
  • The Fashion Show (Brav, 10pm) Series Premiere – What does Heidi say, one minute you’re in and the next you’re out, for those waiting patiently for that other design show, this might be worth a look.
  • Michael J Fox (ABC, 10pm) – In this special titled Adventures of an Incurable Optimist he visits optimists around the world and they also share a little science about the positive outlook.

Friday

  • Everybody Hates Chris (CW, 8pm) Season Finale – Will Chris have to repeat the 10th grade, is this show still on?
  • Dollhouse (Fox, 9pm) Season Finale – What is Alpha up to with Echo and what will Ballard do about it?

Saturday

  • NBA Countdown (ABC, 5pm/pst) – Leading into the playoffs followed by game 3 of the semis at 5:15.

Sunday

  • The Apprentice (NBC, 8pm) Season Finale – This finale is three hours long, yes three hours long, how much screen time does that equal for the Donald?
  • The Amazing Race/Cold Case/The Unit (CBS, 9/10pm) Season Finales – Races, and cases, and nuclear bombs, oh my.
  • Brothers & Sisters (ABC, 10pm) Season Finale – Something tells me the Walkers are still getting themselves into trouble.

  • Chuck (NBC, 8pm) Season Finale – Ellie’s wedding is the scene where it all comes down, without his head filled with info can Chuck save the day, and will he be back next year?
  • Pros vs. Joes (Spike, 11pm) Season Premiere – In this all-star premiere former NBA star takes on the Joes, and I don’t know what that means.

Tuesday

  • Dallas DNA (ID, 10pm) Series Premiere – A look at DNA testing on inmates post conviction.
  • Addicted to Plastic (Sund, 10pm) – This special is a look at the impact of plastic on our society, not in the plastic surgery sense, but in the environmental sense.

Wednesday

  • Rules of Engagement/New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS, 8/8:30pm) – They’re trying to line up the laughs as a special night and time.
  • Smith (DirTV, 10pm) – In case you missed the unaired episodes of this fun heist series they’re kicking off tonight.

Thursday

  • My Name is Earl/Parks&Recreation/The Office/30 Rock/Southland (NBC, 8-11pm) – Nothing much new or notable tonight except NBC seems to have crafted a palatable new Thursday night lineup, though the jury is still out on Parks&Rec.

Friday

  • Numb3rs (CBS, 10pm) – There’s always slim pickings on a Friday night (besides Dollhouse of course) but Don and Charlie offer up a little more family crime solving with math on this 100th episode.

Saturday

  • Not even a lot of good movie of the week options for a Saturday night so it looks like either catch up on tivo or maybe netflix Caprica on dvd.

Sunday

  • Cycling (Vs, 2pm) – This week’s cyclism Sunday brings us the Tour de Romandie.
