new and noteworthy tv: 6/29-7/12

I started watching The ‘Burbs on a flight so came home and grabbed a month of Peacock, it had a fun cast but a pretty dumb story. Also caught up on The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, which I want to like more than I do, and St Denis Medical which is a solidly growing on me workplace comedy. Over on Hulu watched Mindy Kaling’s latest Not Suitable For Work which just felt dated, and Welcome to Wrexham which still engages me but not as much as initially. And Beef over on Netflix which honestly I didn’t love last season because it was so tense, and I had heard this season was different, but still not a huge fan.

As far as movies go I enjoyed Voicemails for Isabelle which captured a really sweet take on a romcom, though you know don’t get too picky about the gimmicks and then Dead Man’s Wire the latest Van Sant based on real events, fine but didn’t grab me.
