I appreciate that things are at least a little calmer with new tv during the summer. I cruised through The Old Man and DarkWinds, the former started out stronger and lost a little for me while the other was the opposite as I got to know more of the characters, I’ll tune back in for another season of both. I also tried to watch Flowers in the Attic: The Origin because we had randomly talked about how weird those books were but couldn’t make it past the first ep.
Looking forward to the return of Reservation Dogs and Resident Alien. I’ll also likely continue with Never Have I Ever which is cute enough. And started on Deutschland 83 for some fun spy capers and The Bear for family/culinary drama, so far so good.

- Five Days at Memorial (App+) Series Premiere, Friday 8/12 – Based on a book this looks at the medical staff’s reaction to Hurricane Katrina.
- A League of Their Own (Am) Series Premiere, Friday 8/12 – A reimagining of the movie about ’40s women’s baseball.
